Hengli to Debut at the 2026 Stuttgart Battery Exhibition in Germany, Targeting New Opportunities in European Lithium Batteries

From June 9 to 11, 2026, The Battery Show Europe, a leading global exhibition in the new energy industry, was grandly held at the Stuttgart Exhibition Center in Germany. Hengli Eletek Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hengli"), in collaboration with Honeystone from the United Kingdom and ST Projects from the Netherlands, jointly occupied Booth 5-F55 and made a significant appearance at the exhibition with its core lithium thermal equipment and complete solutions for retired battery recycling.

This exhibition participation was led by Zhao Ping, the deputy general manager of Hengli, with core backbones from the Marketing Department and Lithium Battery Equipment Business Division forming a professional team to go to the site, responsible for cooperation negotiations, technical Q&A, market research, and customer engagement, comprehensively engaging with upstream and downstream merchants in the European lithium battery industry chain. 

Dual-core products debut, with lithium battery intelligent manufacturing + green circular economy empowering industrial development 

Hengli unveiled two major core product portfolios, covering two core sectors of lithium battery intelligent manufacturing and green recycling. Among them, the lithium battery roller hearth furnace series, as the core equipment for mass production of lithium battery cathode and anode materials, relies on mature thermal engineering R&D and mass production experience, is equipped with high-precision temperature control and optimized temperature field structure, and can ensure the stable and consistent quality of material sintering. With advantages such as modularization, low energy consumption, high stability, and easy operation and maintenance, it meets the needs of large-scale and standardized mass production of various lithium battery materials, helping enterprises reduce costs, increase efficiency, and improve production quality. The waste battery recycling and crushing complete production line, also on display, is designed to address the pain points in the disposal of retired power batteries, is compatible with mainstream batteries such as ternary and lithium iron phosphate, and can achieve fully automated operations for crushing, pyrolysis, and sorting, efficiently recovering various valuable materials. Paired with a complete environmental protection treatment system, it fully meets the strict environmental protection standards of Europe, providing overseas customers with a mature, efficient, and compliant complete solution for lithium battery resource recycling. 

Precisely meet customer needs and implement the communication results of projects

During the exhibition, the team steadily advanced the docking of existing projects, communicated with German clients to confirm the arrangements related to the arrival, installation, and commissioning of the box furnace, and held an online meeting regarding their 10,000-ton lithium iron phosphate roller hearth furnace project to implement each technical detail one by one. Meanwhile, the team proactively visited enterprises in the industry, established communication with European material manufacturers such as a French enterprise, and exchanged opinions on equipment requirements. 

Conduct on-site research in the European market to clarify industrial development trends 

Through on-site research, it is known that the European lithium battery anode and cathode materials industry is still in its early stages of development, and market opportunities mainly come from newly built production lines. Local battery recycling currently mainly relies on physical crushing and sorting processes, with the output black powder having low purity and mostly being sold to Southeast Asia. Affected by EU environmental protection and waste management policies, local enterprises plan to add pyrolysis equipment in the future. Hengli will empower the European waste battery recycling market with its excellent thermal equipment and full-stack self-developed system engineering capabilities.
