Recently, the Li-ION BATTERY Africa 2026 Summit successfully concluded at the Four Seasons Hotel in Marrakech, Morocco. This conference brought together enterprises and research institutions across the entire industrial chain, including those in lithium battery minerals, materials, cell manufacturing, waste battery recycling, equipment manufacturing, logistics and finance, etc., to engage in in-depth exchanges around core topics such as the synergy of the African lithium battery supply chain, localization production, and cross-border cooperation.

 

Zhang Zhen, General Manager of the Resource Recycling Division of Hengli Eletek Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as " Hengli"), led a team to attend this summit. Hengli made a grand appearance at the exhibition with intelligent production solutions such as lithium battery material sintering and waste battery recycling, actively expanding cooperation on lithium battery projects in North Africa, and steadily advancing the overseas new energy industry layout. The delegation of partner Beichen Recycling and the General Manager of Honeystone Enterprise also attended the meeting for exchanges. Representatives from Moroccan local enterprise SAISA MAROC and relevant officials from the United Nations Industrial Development Organization's Morocco Office visited, engaging in in-depth discussions on topics such as local lithium battery industry chain cooperation. Professional teams from Stellantis' Morocco branch and PowerCo SE, a battery enterprise under Volkswagen Group, also visited the booth to exchange on technical and supporting requirements, accumulating high-quality cooperation resources for the enterprise to expand its market channels in Europe.
