Six-column double-chamber multi-layer roller hearth furnace 

Specifically designed for the sintering heat treatment process of lithium iron phosphate cathode materials and sodium-ion cathode materials under nitrogen atmosphere. The equipment features excellent temperature uniformity, with the temperature difference across the cross-section of the six-row ultra-wide furnace controlled within ±5°C through unique thermal engineering layout and auxiliary heating temperature control. In terms of production capacity, it adopts a six-row, double-chamber, multi-layer structure, with an annual production capacity of up to 100,000 tons per unit. The self-developed technologies are applied in aspects such as sealing performance, atmosphere system, and transmission system, ensuring the equipment is stable and reliable, guaranteeing high consistency in product quality, and facilitating efficient intelligent manufacturing in the era of large-scale production.

Empowering the Recycling of Used Batteries 

Waste ternary/ lithium iron phosphate batteries are safely crushed while charged under an inert or special atmosphere, dried to remove the electrolyte, and then subjected to high-temperature pyrolysis to decompose the separator, binder, and residual electrolyte, and to dissociate most of the electrode powder from the current collector. Subsequently, through multi-stage combined separation, the battery shell, copper, aluminum, and electrode powder are efficiently recovered. The exhaust gas generated during crushing and pyrolysis is incinerated, cracked, and then neutralized and absorbed by spraying before being discharged up to the standard. Among them, the treatment of the electrolyte can not only eliminate its components through combustion but also significantly reduce natural gas energy consumption.

During the exhibition, Jiang Haisheng, the Technical Director of Hengli's Lithium Battery Business Unit, was invited to visit the exhibition's press center and received an exclusive interview from the media. In the interview, Jiang Haisheng pointed out that the current battery industry is accelerating its transformation towards scale, intelligence, low-carbon, and circular development, and the focus of competition has shifted to the comprehensive strength of technology, cost, green development, and equipment. He stated that looking towards the 15th Five-Year Plan, China needs to strengthen the autonomy and controllability of core equipment, break through key technologies, improve the lithium battery circular industrial chain, deepen intelligent transformation, strengthen collaborative innovation, and consolidate its global competitive advantage.
